David Bakum is a film curator and community organiser. Drawing on his Master’s degree in Narrative Futures, he approaches narratology through a futuristic lens that connects artistic practice with social and political engagement. He contributes to the organisation and curation of international film festivals, including Edinburgh International University Film Festival, Giornate degli Autori, and Karlovy Vary International Film Festival. In his political education work, he explores emotions as a tool to foster dialogue, focusing on addressing antisemitism, anti-Muslim racism, and anti-Palestinian racism in educational and institutional contexts. He began volunteering at XPOSED in 2022 and has been part of the curation team since 2023.
