Originally from France, Pierre Emö lives in Berlin, where he explores the fields of film, theatre, performance and modeling. His film appearances include roles in KNIFE+HEART by Yann Gonzalez and IT IS NOT THE PORNOGRAPHER THAT IS PERVERSE… by Bruce LaBruce. He has also worked with Wojciech Puś on ENDLESS and on his upcoming film SHORTLIST. On stage, he has performed regularly with the Nilsson Eicke group, in DEKAMERON and DIE WALKÜRE, for example. He recently appeared in MACBETH, directed by Marie-Eve Signeyrole at the Deutsche Oper Berlin, and was part of THE NARCOSEXUALS by Dries Verhoeven. An active member of the queer community, he was part of the Pornceptual collective for many years and is also a member of the curating team for the exhibition Instinct. In the field of film festivals, his activities include working for the Panorama at the Berlinale, facilitating the Teddy Award activities, and working for the XPOSED Queer Film Festival, where he takes part in coordinating the Campus programme and the Queer Short Film Fund.
