Queer, Ghanaian-German, polyamory and the desire for a child: protagonist Akosua is accompanied for three years by her friend and director Mala on her journey through Germany and Ghana. Together they experience the highs and lows of a life full of longings, relationships and personal growth. While Akosua is still thinking about how she can make her wish for a child come true, Mala becomes pregnant during filming.
