Accessibility​

MOVIEMENTO

The cinema is located on the first floor. This venue is not wheelchair accessible. There is one step up to the main entrance and a set of stairs of approximately 25 steps, with intermediate landing and handrails, leading up to the cinema.

WOLF KINO

Wolf Kino is wheelchair accessible. Ramps are available at the entrances to the café/bar and the studio, and access to all cinema halls is step-free. Auditoriums 1 and 2 each have one designated wheelchair space.
The studio can accommodate multiple wheelchair users. A wheelchair-accessible toilet is available. There is a threshold under 2 cm at the entrance. Staff assistance may be helpful to open the heavy entrance and internal doors.
Audio description and subtitles for visually and hearing-impaired audiences are available via the Greta & Starks app.
Download the app for free (App Store or Google Play), select your film, and download the corresponding audio description or subtitles. Registration is required on first use.

IL KINO​

There is a threshold under 5 cm at the entrance. Inside there is limited circulation and manoeuvring space. A step-free access to the screening room is possible with assistance. A wheelchair-accessible toilet is available.

Aquarium Südblock​

There is a step-free access into and within the venue. A wheelchair-accessible toilet and changing room is available. There is reserved seating and assistance animals are welcome.

BABYLON KREUZBERG

Foyer: There is one step at the main entrance and a step-free access via the emergency exit of Hall A (please inform staff).
Screening Rooms: Hall A has a step-free access via an emergency exit and wheelchair spaces are available. Hall B has a step-free access via an emergency exit, but no wheelchair spaces are available.

Wheelchair-accessible restrooms are available and there is step-free access within the foyer once inside.

Sİnema Transtopia

The foyer and screening room are wheelchair-accessible via the garden entrance. Wheelchair-accessible toilets are available. Animals are not allowed in the cinema hall, however they are allowed in the foyer if other guests do not object.

WikiBär

The space is only partially accessible for wheelchair users.
Entrance: The access is not barrier-free, as there is a high step or several steps at the entrance.
Interior spaces: Most of the rooms are considered not directly accessible; assistance is usually required.
Sanitary facilities: A wheelchair-accessible toilet is listed.

VIERTE WELT​

Access to the venue: It is located on a gallery on the first floor of the building and is accessible via a staircase (two sections: 16 + 13 steps, with handrail) or an elevator located behind the stairs. Important:
To use the elevator, you need to ring at the police station located underneath the gallery. Simply state that you need elevator access – no further interaction is required. If this is not possible or feels uncomfortable, please contact zugang@viertewelt.de at least one day in advance. Alternative access arrangements can be made.

Inside the venue:
Main Hall: There is a step at entrance from the gallery, with a mobile ramp available upon request (it cannot remain permanently in place). There is an even floor inside.

Studio: It is a step-free space. The toilets are partially wheelchair-accessible (max. 68 cm width) with support handles.

Foyer: The toilet is partially wheelchair-accessible (door width 68 cm).

General: All toilets are gender-neutral, there are seating toilets only.

The programs Short Films: Opening Night Shorts: BODY FUTURES and Retrospective 6: Against the Screen, aswell as the opening film APOLO have accessible subtitling.
